It's Finally Here...The Holiday Mini Sessions!!!

It's that time again!!! I know, most of you don't even know what your kids want to be for Halloween and here I am telling you that it's time to get those holiday outfits ready for fall portraits.

I'm doing things a little different this year. There are no set dates this year. Call or email amber@bfkphotography.com and we can work on a date that works best for you! We will use one of the many outdoor locations in and around the Woodlands and Spring for these special sessions (that means no private session in your home, sorry).

My calendar is quickly filling up so please don't wait!

It's hot!!!

I waited 8 1/2 months to take these pictures for my friend Rebecca. It was still 100 degrees outside at 7 pm! These girls did great with their new little brother who slept like a rock the whole time.

Searching for the perfect setting for our Holiday Mini Sessions!!!

Do you or somone you know have the perfect setting for our upcoming holiday mini sessions in the Woodlands/Tomball/Spring/Conroe area? Email a picture (even from your phone) to amber@bfkphotography.com for a chance to receive hundreds of dollars worth of gifts. I just need use of the spot for a few days in October and November. I am open for anything, but am particular to old barns, porch swings, unique homes, and fields of fallen trees. Tell your friends, family, and neighbors because I plan on having more than one location to shoot.

Galveston Engagement Photographer

I have been patiently (not really) waiting to post some of these amazing images from a Galveston engagement session. She wanted to get her save the dates out before I posted any of these online. This was so much fun and it's amazing what a difference a new camera will make!!! I am in love with all of her images. Can't wait to do the bridal session!

What a trooper!

This beautiful bright eyed little girl was so good for the entire session. It's not too often that a 4 month old makes it longer than 15 minutes, but she lasted over an hour! We took plenty of pictures with both sets of grandparents, her aunt, and mom and dad. This is my favorite picture from their session...

Rosebud Lips

I get asked all the time where I get the adorable headbands, hats, and clips that I use for my photo sessions. I met the sweetest young lady about 3 years ago at a maternity session. We clicked right from the start. We had so much in common like our ability to create and craft, she was a single mother (I have been there), and our daughters were 2 months apart in age. Needless to say, we have been close friends since. So close that she just happens to be dating my younges brother which is awesome! Anyways, Lauren is the one who makes all of these amazing pieces. Her products are used by photographers all of the United States. Check her website out at www.rosebudlips.etsy.com. Not only does she make amazing things for babies and kids, but also has a beautiful line of items for brides. I love you girl!

Things are not always what they seem...

Doesn't it look like this little angel slept thru her whole session? Truth is, I was lucky to get these amazing shots. It was chilly and windy on the day of her session and she was not having anything to do with it. She slept about 5-10 minutes of her 2 hour session and mom said she slept almost all day after that. I must have worn her out! E, I hope you and your family enjoy this little sneak peak.
